The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Top Gun Miramar is the latest addition to IWC Schaffhausen’s legendary aviation lineup and the first time that IWC uses a ceramic case in a light blue color. This special color was created in collaboration with Pantone.
Named after the famed U.S. Navy Fighter Weapons School in Miramar, California, this chronograph blends military-inspired design, cutting-edge materials, and Swiss precision into a compact yet powerful 41.9 mm package.
The Top Gun Miramar aesthetic pays homage to 1940s military aviation watches, with a matte ceramic case, white-colored numerals and layout favored by pilots for quick, at-a-glance reading.
The 41.9 mm blue ceramic case is exceptionally scratch-resistant and lightweight. It’s paired with a comfortable light blue rubber strap, reinforcing its military-tool-watch DNA.
The Super-LumiNova on the blue hands and numerals ensures excellent legibility in low-light cockpit conditions.
Under the hood beats the IWC-manufactured Caliber 69380, a robust, column-wheel chronograph movement offering:
Protected by a soft-iron inner case, the movement is resistant to magnetic fields — an essential feature for pilots.
At 41.9 mm, this Top Gun Miramar offers excellent wearability for a variety of wrist sizes. The ceramic case is paired with a titanium caseback for strength and corrosion resistance, making it both lightweight and highly durable. Water resistance is rated at 10 bar (100 meters).
