Franck Muller Vanguard Color of Dreams
On November 30th of last year, Franck Muller unveiled the captivating Vanguard Color Dreams, a limited edition creation in collaboration with the renowned Dutch artist Loes Van Delft. Known for her vibrant and whimsical artworks featuring playful characters, Loes Van Delft’s signature style brings a unique flair to this timepiece.
Limited to just 50 pieces, the Vanguard Color Dreams Loes Van Delft is a true gem. One of the first things that struck me about this watch is the decision to encase the artistic dial within a sleek black case, allowing the artwork to take center stage.
Crafted from titanium with a black PVD treatment, the 43 mm case exudes a contemporary allure. It’s paired with an all-black strap, composed of alligator leather over black rubber with matching stitching, and secured with a deployant clasp. With a lug-to-lug measurement of approximately 52.7mm, this timepiece may not be ideal for very small wrist sizes.
Beneath the curved sapphire crystal lies the heart of this watch — a vibrant and playful artwork by Loes Van Delft, surrounded by Franck Muller’s iconic Color Dreams numerals. Featuring 26 different colors, the artwork covers the entire dial, creating a mesmerizing visual spectacle. The skeleton black hands for the hours and minutes add a touch of contrast, treated with Superluminova for visibility in low-light conditions.
Powering this exclusive timepiece is an automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve.
Each timepiece comes with a signed art print, uniquely numbered to match the watch, further enhancing its exclusivity. With only 50 pieces available worldwide, the Vanguard Color Dreams Loes Van Delft is not just a watch; it’s a rare and coveted collectible that seamlessly blends artistry and horology.
