TAG Heuer Carrera 160 Years Anniversary Limited Montreal
Tag Heuer recently launched another Carrera 160 years anniversary which they call the Montreal edition. This limited edition Carrera carries the design elements of the original Heuer Montreal launched in the 70s combined with a retro 39 mm Carrera case.
The stainless steel case is fully polished and features a camber sapphire crystal that resembles the Plexiglass version used in the 60s on the original Carrera. Another feature of this retro case is the see-thru caseback that exposes the excellent movement made by Tag Heuer, caliber Heuer 02. This movement works at 4 hertz and features stop seconds, vertical clutch for the chronograph and up to 80 hours of power reserve.
The dial is where you get to see the Montreal design inspiration. A white dial with blue subdials and yellow accents added above the indexes and the 30 minute counter. The rhodium plated hands also have yellow accent which have been treated with superluminova and to give it the final touch, Tag used a red central seconds hand.
Of the 2 retro Carrera designs, the Montreal is the most sporty looking thanks to the colorful dial and blue alligator leather strap.
And just like the original Carrera, the Montreal edition only has the Heuer batch everywhere with the exception of the black oscillating weight that has the Tag Heuer logo. This is an exceptional retro design that will never go out of style. This timepiece is limited to only 1000 pcs worldwide.
