Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph Camouflage Blue V45 CC DT TT MC BL
The Vanguard collection from Franck Muller has always stood out for its bold architecture and unapologetic design language. With the Camouflage Blue V45 Chronograph, the brand pushes that identity even further.
The first thing that hits you is the dial. The blue camouflage motif isn’t subtle – and that’s exactly the point. It’s a layered composition of varying blue tones that create depth, movement, and a distinctly urban edge. Unlike traditional camouflage, which leans tactical, this execution feels modern and almost artistic.
As usual, the dial features oversized Arabic numerals – which are applied in a bold white that contrasts sharply against the blue background.
The chronograph subdials are cleanly integrated, ensuring functionality doesn’t disrupt the dial’s visual flow. This dial looks well balance and everything is easy to read.
The Vanguard case design is instantly recognizable. Measuring 45mm, the V45 sits large on paper, but its curved tonneau shape hugs the wrist more comfortably than you’d expect.
This case is crafted in titanium with a camouflage-treated finish, the case reinforces the watch’s sporty DNA while keeping it lightweight. The bold pushers and crown are ergonomically designed, making chronograph operation smooth and intuitive.
Under the hood is a reliable automatic chronograph movement. While Franck Muller doesn’t always position itself as a movement-first brand, the performance here is solid and dependable. The caliber used here is FM 700-C2-DT. This movement consist of 283 parts and has a power reserve of about 46 hours.
The Vanguard Chronograph Camouflage Blue isn’t for everyone – and that’s its biggest strength. In a market saturated with safe, conservative designs, this piece stands out as a bold alternative.
If your collection already has the classics and you’re looking for something with personality, edge, and unmistakable presence, this Franck Muller delivers.
