Bell and Ross Br 05 Skeleton Black Ceramic
Today, I had hands on a versatile and stylish timepiece—the new Bell and Ross BR05 Skeleton Black Ceramic. This watch is lightweight, robust, and complements almost any outfit.
Among the numerous releases by the watchmaker in 2024, the BR05 Skeleton Black Ceramic stands out. It s available with ceramic bracelet and a rubber strap, and for a more conservative look, there’s a black ceramic version with a standard dial.
Bell and Ross also introduced the Skeleton Black Lum Ceramic, which features a sandblasted finish on the case and bracelet. I prefer this model for its elegant and refined look, combining satin and polished finishes on both the case and bracelet.
While this is not an affordable timepiece, it offers a reliable movement visible through the dial side, and its case and bracelet are made from a material lighter and harder than steel, hypoallergenic, and scratch-resistant, ensuring it stays looking new for years.
The new Black Ceramic timepieces are slightly larger than the standard BR05, measuring 41 mm in diameter, 49 mm lug-to-lug, and with a case thickness of 11.2 mm. On the wrist, the black ceramic bracelet elevates the BR05’s look, adding elegance and ensuring durability, as the ceramic material resists scratches.
The watch is powered by the Caliber 322-1, visible through the dial side and thru the see-through case back. This automatic movement operates at 4 hertz and offers a 54-hour power reserve. Additionally, the sporty BR05 is water-resistant up to 100 meters, making it safe for swimming.
