Breguet Type 20 Chronograph
Breguet‘s iconic Type 20 is one of the most recognizable pilot watches in the world. Originally created in the 1950s for the french naval air army. Fast forward to 2023, Breguet has finally refresh the design of their iconic aviator watches. Just a few months ago they introduced the new Type XX and Type 20 flyback chronographs.
New the Type 20 now has a larger stainless steel case wich measures 42 mm in dia and small updates for the dial. But the case do retain the rotating bezel, pump style chronograph pushers and large crown just like the original design.
But the biggest update is under the hood! This new Type 20 uses an all new in house caliber. This is a fully integrated flybackback chronograph movement which features silicon escapement wheel, balance spring and pallet lever horn.
This is caliber 728, an automatic movement that works at 5 hertz and delivers up to 60 hours of power reserve.
The movement also comes with hacking seconds and water resistance is rated at 100 meters.
