Tag Heuer Aquaracer Super Diver
The new Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver is one of the best deals of 2022! This is a robust diver timepiece with a beautiful dial and a chronometer certified movement.
The contemporary case is made of Grade 5 Titanium and measures 45 mm in diameter by 15.75 mm in thickness. It is a thick case but still a bit more manageable than its competitor’s timepieces that can range from 16 to 18 mm in thickness.
The case has an U Shaped crown guard that actually extends away from the case when you unscrew the crown. At theLeft side of the case, there’s a rectangular helium release valve that is flush to the surface of the case, which helps keep the design of this Aquaracer more streamline and clean.
The octagonal unidirectional Titanium bezel has a Black ceramic insert with orange quarter hour, all in mate finish, which looks great!
Since this is a true diver’s timepiece, the titanium bracelet comes with a folding clasp with racketing’s diver’s extension.
The dial is gorgeous! Sunburst black dial with horizontal teak pattern (similar to Omegas’s Aqua Terra) with large octagonal and tapered rectangular applied indices. The minute markers have been printed on a silver ring which creates a very nice contrast, and last but definitely not least, there is a date aperture with at the 6 O’clock position.
The arrow shaped hour hand along with the large applied hour markers have Ultra Bright Superluminova coating in green, while the sword style minute hand, along with the second’s hand and bezel markers have a blue Superluminova.
Under the hood, this Superdiver is using caliber TH30-00, which is a Chronometer certified movement created in collaboration with Kenissi. This movement manufacturer also have a partnership with Breitling and Tudor.
This proven movement works at 4 hertz uing 28 jewels and has a power reserve of 72 hours.
Thanks to the impressive performance of this timepiece, Tag here was able to receive the ISO 6425:2018 certification for Saturation diver’s watches.
