Panerai Radiomir Otto Giorni
When you see the Panerai Radiomir Otto Giorni fir the first time, you are quickly drawn to its exquisite case finish. The 45 mm case is crafted from Esteel which is a new steel composed of recycled based materials that accounts for over 50% of the total weight.
The vintage look of the case is a finish that Panerai calls Brunito. This is accomplish by adding the PVD coating to the steel and then brushing it to give it a vintage that almost look like gun metal.
The case measures 45 mm in Diameter by 12.5 mm thickness and 48.5 mm from lug to lug. Under the sapphire crystal is a beautiful grainy shaded dial that goes from brown to almost black. The dial also features skeletonized metallic blue hands and Superluminova that has been added to the hour markers and hands.
Under the hood this Panerai uses caliber P5000. This manual movement works at 3 hertz using 21 jewels and the 8 days of power reserve comes from its twin mainspring barrels. The movement is composed of 146 components which includes a Glucydur balance and Incabloc Parechoc.
The timepiece comes in a new style of packaging which includes a removable travel pouch.
